Meaning: The silver sixpence is part of English history and is said to bring the receiver health, fertility, happiness and wealth.  It is also an old English tradition to place a sixpence coin in the Christmas pudding.   A prefect 'good luck' gift for any occasion. 


The sixpence will be minted between 1947 and 1951.
